my 1st morning commute

thru hollywood along the I10 E from santa monica to downtown LA ... google maps says it should take 20 miutes so i thought i'd be smart and leave 45 minutes early ... which would have been great if i hadn't gotten lost in LA *sigh* i finally got the the classroom at USC by 9.15am feeling very stressed and frazzled but managed to get everything running smoothly after the first half hour ... it helped that they are great students ... very friendly and very keen to learn the rest of the day went very well and they asked if we could start at 8am from now on and only take 30 minutes for lunch ... the upside? finish at 2.30pm baby!!! beach here i come!!! so of course i said yes ... natch oh yah ... i almost forgot ... the picture is a bit arb i know but if you look *really really* closely there is a small white blob on the hills in the distance ... thats the famous "hollywood" sign ... i know ... lame ... but i've never been here before!!!
