Its a dirty job. But its not that bad really. What I'm doing it sanding the guide coat (which is black) making the surface flat. That way it's not lumpy. Cuz when the primer is applied (like paint) it doesn't get applied smoothly, its layered. So you sand it to make it a smooth flat surface. The guide coat provides a visual to use in making that surface happen. Once done the side car looks white (its really off white almost grey really). Then its off to be painted, sanded again, clear coated, sanded again and then striped if it calls for it, clear coated, sanded again and then...buffed and polished to be delivered. Ain't that just a good piece of knowledge to know!
