the spider ... actually the big-assed spider ... who had set up shop right outside the back door exactly in the path of anyone wanting to get out onto the deck ... i knew if he was there when andy got home from work he would be toast so i batted him off into the garden ... prolly gave him a headache but it was his best option even if he didn't know it
