the guards are on duty standing completely still all through the day and the flame is never turned off - there is gentle ambient sound playing constantly and i think it is one of the most serene and relaxing buildings i have ever been in - nobody shouts or jokes around or leaves litter - the sense of respect for what it represents runs very very deep
