housemates...

so what's an empty jar of raspberry jam got to do with housemates? let me explain... when you share your living space with other people there has to be mutual respect for each other and each other's things ... like keeping common areas of the house clean ... washing dishes after you cook so others can cook ... not touching others food without asking first ... normal stuff between respectful adults or not apparently so the empty jam jar is what i found in the fridge this morning when i went to make myself a piece of toast with my tea before running ... not only was it empty but it was put back in the fridge ... clearly whoever finished it off didn't want to tell me they had finished it off or ask if they could before they did ... and i know with 100% certainty that if i should bother to ask who ate it then of course nobody would have touched it ... "i don't eat/like/support raspberry jam lauren", would have been the response ... it would have been the "house fairies" i am getting very fed up with house sharing ... i haven't had to actually live here for very long and i am quickly getting to the point where i want to move out and live alone again
